Common meanings (traditional belief)

1 = smooth sailing; 2 = double happiness/love; 3 = rising career and mentors (desk, study); 5 = five blessings; 6 = smooth fortune (openings, moving in); 8 = booming wealth (living-room wealth corner); 9 = lasting love and complete family (weddings); 10+ = abundance (corporate reception, shopfront).

Numbers to avoid

Avoid 4 (homophone) and 7; resolve with 3+1 or 6+2. (Note: 4 also has a scholarly-luck reading — both coexist.)

Water care (factual)

Likes shade and indirect light, dislikes direct sun; clean water changed weekly, ~5 cm above the roots, a little hydroponic solution optional. Yellowing comes from direct sun, poor water or stale water.

Gifting: 6 or 8 stalks for openings, 9 for weddings, 3 for a study or promotion.
