Start with where it will live

Which plants suit a home with cats or dogs?

Look first at plants on the ASPCA non-toxic list, such as Areca Palm, Money Tree, Finger Lady Palm, Ruffled Fan Palm and Olive Tree. Palms suit a floor corner; Money Tree needs a spot with good window light. Non-toxic does not mean edible, so keep discouraging chewing.

Start with the plant’s identity

Common names can overlap. Confirm the plant’s identity and a reliable toxicity reference before ordering. The ASPCA listing is a reference, not a certification of a shop or product.

Make the whole arrangement secure

Place floor plants on a stable surface rather than an unsteady high stand. Keep fertiliser, compost and standing water out of reach. Where pets tend to chew, use physical separation to manage access.

Before you order

Does non-toxic mean my pet can chew it?

No. A non-toxic plant is not pet food. Discourage chewing and contact a vet if a pet becomes unwell after eating any plant.

Why should I check the scientific name?

Similar common names can refer to different plants. A scientific name helps match the plant to reliable toxicity information.

Is natural fertiliser always safe?

No. Follow the product instructions and store all fertilisers where pets cannot reach them.

How do I stop my cat knocking over or chewing a plant?

Use a heavy, stable pot and keep it away from ledges a cat can jump from. If chewing continues, move the plant to a room the pet cannot enter and keep the compost surface clean.

What if my pet eats a leaf or compost?

Stop them eating more, note the plant name and roughly how much, and contact a vet promptly. Even non-toxic plants can upset the stomach if eaten in quantity.

How long does delivery take in Hong Kong?

Delivery normally takes 3–7 business days after ordering to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories, excluding outlying islands. The date still needs confirmation; public holidays and severe weather can cause delays.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is free on orders of HK$1,500 or more; otherwise, it costs HK$200. Direct lift access carries no stair charge; carrying upstairs costs HK$50 per floor. Please ask us about unusual access.

What if my plant arrives with a health issue?

Contact us within seven days with your order number and photographs of the plant. Claims are handled under the returns policy; the health promise does not cover every reason for an exchange.
